We’re on a roll with amazing presentations, and October will be a really special Friends Meeting. We’ll be running a workshop on pitching your business, with the venerable SBEC Mentor Joe Platnick showcasing one of our Pitch Training companies. See the before-and-after of our program. For entrepreneurs and company founders, it all begins with the vision for a new idea that will change the world. But how do you finance that vision and create a sustainable business? In Southern California entrepreneurs are often unaware of the many options available for financing a small business or startup. Enter “SBEC Access to Capital 2017” to help find a worthwhile path.
This seminar, part of the South Bay Entrepreneurial Center’s (SBEC) education program for entrepreneurs, will help company founders and executives learn how to overcome the unique financing challenges that face startups and small businesses. The event will provide information on different sources of capital for small businesses and their advantages and disadvantages, including angel funding, venture capital, crowdfunding, bank loans, Small Business Administration (SBA) Lenders and government grants and loan programs.
