Patrick S. Stacy
Patrick Stacy is a financial executive with a history of successfully guiding entrepreneurial middle market companies by providing critical strategic, financial and operational planning and execution. Stacy served as CFO for two companies that doubled or tripled in size while achieving record profitability. He has directed the merger, acquisition and start-up of ten business entities, including the establishment of a Chinese subsidiary, and has led contract negotiations with banks, secured lenders, vendors and customers. Currently, Stacy serves as a financial and business consultant for several small businesses and start-ups.
Stacy enjoys helping entrepreneurs turn great ideas into business success. He encourages business owners and their management teams to focus on two basic concepts: First, does the company have a sustainable current business model? Second, what will the impact of change be on the organization, its personnel and the business model in the future?
A graduate of UC San Diego with a BA in Information and Computer Science, Stacy earned his MBA from UCLA with a concentration in Accounting and Information Systems. Since 2006, he has returned annually to the UCLA Anderson School as a volunteer judge for MBA student team business plans. In 2012, he joined the Taproot Foundation as a pro bono consultant to apply his financial and strategic planning skills to deserving nonprofit organizations.
