Since 2004, Joe has also been an Angel investor in Southern California and is Director Emeritus of the Pasadena Angels, one of the largest Angel groups in the US. He is currently a member of the Faculty and a Business Advisor for the Goldman Sachs Foundation 10,000 Small Businesses Program (10KSB). Prior to 10KSB, Joe was the CEO of FutureBound, an educational video game developer founded at the University of Southern California focused on developing college readiness and access skills for middle- and high-school youth. He was also a Partner with Pan Pacific Capital Ltd., an Asia-Pacific Venture Capital firm focused on the Digital Media, Life Sciences and Cleantech sectors. Joe’s career has included executive, board, and sales/marketing management positions with Fortune 500 and startup companies. He has been a frequent speaker and blogger on entrepreneurship for many local and international events. Joe holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from MIT.
