The economic development channels within each of the 15 city governments of the South Bay are involved as strategic partners with the SBEC. Together, by helping the entrepreneurs who are incubated, coached and mentored by the Center, we serve our communities by providing an opportunity to create jobs, economic growth and a more vibrant and diversified community.

Our initial center is located in Old Town Torrance and we are planning on opening three additional similar centers over the next year in strategic and convenient locations throughout the South Bay. Sites under consideration include El Segundo, Beach Cities, and the Carson/Gardena/Harbor Gateway areas.

Stakeholders in the community, in the government and in business know that incubators like The SBEC can improve the economy by launching new businesses, creating jobs and helping to create a more vibrant, diversified community.
